Meine Meinung:

Vi Keeland ist eine meiner Lieblingsautoren in Sachen Romance Novel. Ich habe schon viele ihrer Romane gelesen. Doch dieser ist aus meiner Sicht, nach wie vor der beste von allen. Gelesen habe ich ihn in englisch und deutsch und in beide Sprachen ist in einem sehr guten Stil geschrieben.

Bei The Baller geht es um Liebe und Schatten der Vergangenheit die es zu bewältigen gilt. Brody mit einem gewissen Ruf und einer Vergangenheit die in die Gegenwart tritt und Delilah trauert insgeheim immer noch Ihrer verstorbenen Jugendliebe nach. Es ist eine Reise durch die Gefühlswelt der beiden Protagonisten und ein steiniger Weg für beide.

Vor einer Weile habe ich diesen Roman schon als Buchempfehlung angeben.

My opinion:

Vi Keeland is one of my favorite romance novel authors. I have read many of her novels. But this is from my point of view, still the best of all. I have read it in English and German and in both languages it is written in a very good style.

The Baller is about love and shadows of the past that have to be overcome. Brody with a certain reputation and a past that enters the present and Delilah secretly still mourns her deceased childhood sweetheart. It is a journey through the emotional world of the two protagonists and a rocky road for both.
